This is a facilitation guide for running a workshop "Introduction to Scrum".

The goal of this workshop is to teach your team the Scrum framework, it's key elements, roles, and events through engaging exercises.

This workshop has been created from scratch and has been run with many different teams in different organizations with lots of success.

Audience

The workshop goes over all key elements of the framework in a series of exercises, focusing specifically on what the team needs to know first to start working more effectively.

It is best run when coupled with the ‘Introduction to Agile’ workshop as you will be able to use references to the material covered previously. Depending on the maturity of your team, you can pick and choose the exercises to highlight elements that are more important or the most misunderstood by the team.

Each exercise can be run on its own with an open discussion at the end. This can easily provide about 30 minutes worth of learning, which you can use for shorter teaching moments instead of running it as a full workshop.
